MEET THE TEAM DEDICATED TO

OUR INCLUSIVE WORKPLACE

OLUMIDÉ COLE

National Director of CD&I

“I immigrated to this country from Sierra Leone when I was seven years old. I moved around quite a bit and ended up in Philadelphia in 2002. What I loved most about the city was the presence of different communities and cultures. I started working at Power in 2009 and thought it would be short term. All these years and seven different roles later, I couldn’t imagine working anywhere else. I’ve always been interested in social justice issues and found myself drawn to the world of advocacy. If I were to sum it up; I feel like this work is my calling.”

JAIME LEE

CD&I Specialist

“I was born and raised in Maryland and was always surrounded by a very diverse community. Most of my friends growing up were children of immigrant parents from all over the world and I was exposed to a lot of different cultures from a very young age. My mom has always been my role model for being an ally who cherishes the unique experiences and perspectives of others. I hope to exemplify that through my personal relationships and my work.

I’ve been at Power since May of 2016 and have (literally) moved around quite a bit throughout my career – from the MD office, to the DEN office, now back to the east coast in Philly! I’ve been increasingly involved in the CD&I Initiative throughout my career and was honored to join the team full time in April 2023.”

A Message From the Team

It is with great honor and appreciation that we take on this opportunity to support and empower all communities at Power. We believe that our work does not lie within the folds of simple metrics and data points of diversity. But rather within all of you and the great work you all do on a daily basis. Whether you’re scheduling an appointment, launching a project, making good on our promise to a homeowner or anything in between, we want you to know that we are here to serve you and your goals.

We determine success by the ways you grow personally and professionally. With the understanding that we all arrive from different perspectives and experiences, we aim to make Power a place that you all believe you belong. With the development of Employee Resource Groups, we hope to further enhance a space of inclusivity for the historically marginalized along with their allies. Cultural Diversity and Inclusion isn’t about the sole mission of any individual, but instead is a desire to be a reflection of a world, a workplace we all dream of. It’s great to have you here with us.
